Kangra: Bringing good news for couples seeking assistance on their parenthood journey, Indira IVF on Saturday inaugurated a new fertility centre in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh.

The centre will offer specialized fertility treatments, bringing medical care closer to individuals and couples in the region who are seeking support for their parenthood journey.

This expansion aims to address gaps in reproductive healthcare by providing modern treatments and personalized support to those seeking fertility solutions.

According to a UNI report, the inauguration ceremony was graced by Mrs. Neenu Sharma, Mayor of Dharamshala, as the Chief Guest. The event also saw the presence of Dr Reema Sircar, Zonal Clinical Director, Indira IVF, as the Guest of Honour and Dr Pragya Mishra, Centre Head, Executive Director, Indira IVF Kangra, alongside leading fertility experts from the organization.

Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Neenu Sharma emphasized the importance of fertility care and the emotional significance of motherhood, stating, "Every woman dreams of becoming a mother.

Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that Indira IVF, India's largest network of infertility treatment hospitals, announced its accreditation in the esteemed Fellowship of National Board (FNB) - Reproductive Medicine course by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), India. The accreditation has been provided to its Udaipur and Pune hospitals for four and two seats, respectively. The company aspires to train 100 FNB candidates in the next five years hence, addressing the critical need gap for trained fertility specialists in the country. 

As a distinguished institution in India, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) sets exceptional benchmarks for medical education and training, and provides accreditation to organisations that fulfil its stringent guidelines. Medical graduates who have a DNB/MS degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology can appear for the qualifying examination and a selected few are allocated seats in NBE-accredited Medical Colleges, Institutes or Hospitals.
