Kerala: District Ayurveda Hospital launches E-Hospital System
Kochi: The District Ayurveda Hospital in Ernakulam has officially launched its e-hospital system, marking a significant advancement in digital healthcare services in the region. Integrated with the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, the new system is designed to improve the patient experience and optimize hospital operations.
eHospital Systems is a state-of-the-art, integrated Hospital Management System (HMS) designed to meet the dynamic needs of modern healthcare facilities. Tailored for hospitals, medical centres, multi-speciality clinics, and individual practitioners, this comprehensive platform connects hospitals, satellite clinics, and pharmacies through its Multi-Location functionality. Unlike traditional paper-based methods, the system utilizes advanced technology to quickly retrieve data from servers or the cloud, ensuring enhanced performance, efficiency, and smooth hospital operations.
Starting Friday, the hospital will offer services under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, enhancing both accessibility and efficiency. The Phase I implementation of the E-hospital system was inaugurated on Thursday by Manoj Moothedan, with the event attended by the hospital's Chief Medical Officer and other Panchayat members.
As per the recent media report by TOI, the system enables patients to register online in advance and schedule the time of their visit. Pre-registered persons do not need not wait in queue.
In addition to the e-hospital system, the District Ayurveda Hospital also continues to implement the Mathrivandanam scheme, an important initiative for maternal health in the region. The scheme, aimed at providing comprehensive care to pregnant women, is managed by the District Panchayat in collaboration with the hospital.
