Kerala: Health Minister on surprise inspection at Govt Medical College and Hospital
Thiruvananthapuram: Health Minister Veena George has recently inspected the Medical College Hospital (MCH) and directed the hospital authorities to ensure the smooth functioning of the lab equipment.
It came to the fore that many patients have been complaining about the delay in scans making them wait for a longer period of time. She directed the hospital authorities to install three CT scan machines in the hospital to ensure that the patients get the proper service.
The X-ray machine at the casualty ward should operate 24x7 and be ready to serve the patients at the time of emergency said the minister.
