New Medical College Hospital, Trauma Centre in Aurangabad soon: CM Nitish Kumar
Patna: In a major boost to the state's healthcare facilities, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced the construction of a new Medical College Hospital and a Trauma centre in the Aurangabad district.
During the fourth phase of his Pragati Yatra, Kumar visited Aurangabad district on Tuesday where he initiated 195 projects worth Rs 554 crore for the development of the district. Kumar inaugurated 79 projects worth Rs 127.43 crore and laid the foundation stones of 116 projects worth Rs 428.76 crore.
After reviewing the progress of the ongoing projects, Kumar announced the construction of a new medical college hospital and a trauma centre in Aurangabad. He also announced the construction of a ring road in the historical Dev Nagar Panchayat, Bishnupuran canal to provide an irrigation facility in 2500 area on 15 villages, riverfront on Adri river, check dam on Keshar river, greenfield connecting road near famous Sun Temple of Dev, sports complex in Aurangabad and bypass in Rafiganj, news agency UNI reported.
