Orthopedician Dr Vishal Beri takes charge Facility Director Fortis Mulund

Mumbai: Dr Vishal Beri has been appointed as the Facility Director of Fortis Hospital, Mulund, effective October 1st, 2023. In his new position, he is responsible for overseeing strategic initiatives and managing day to day operations to ensure the hospital provides high standards of clinical care and service to patients.

He will report to Dr S. Narayani, who has been elevated to lead all the strategic development efforts within the West India cluster, as the Business Head of Fortis Hospitals Maharashtra.

A seasoned healthcare professional, Dr Beri has over two decades of experience in healthcare. Dr Vishal Beri has held leadership positions with prominent hospitals, including Apollo group, Hinduja Healthcare Ltd, Suasth Healthcare, KIMS Hospital in Mumbai, and Global Hospitals in Bangalore.

With an M.S. in Orthopaedic Surgery from T.N. Medical College and B.Y.L. Nair Hospital in 2003, and an MBBS from Seth G.S. Medical College & KEM Hospital, he is also an alumnus of the Indian School of Business where he completed his Post Graduate Programme in Management in 2008. Dr Vishal Beri’s last role was with KIMS Hospital as the Regional Chief Operating Officer (West), he spearheaded the group’s expansion in Maharashtra.
