Three Govt hospitals to get makeover at cost of Rs 100 Crore in Telangana
Hyderabad: To provide better and advanced quality healthcare facilities to the people of Telangana, the state government has decided to upgrade the medical infrastructure of Koti ENT hospital, Fever Hospital in Nallakunta and Gandhi Hospital for Rs 100 crore. The upgraded facilities are expected to be launched in the coming weeks.
Although the construction work for the said hospitals is underway, the government are trying its best to complete the work at a rapid pace so that the patients can benefit from the facilities at the hospitals at the earliest. A better quality of care will be provided to the needy and poor patients in the state as a result of this initiative.
Sir Ronald Ross Institute of Tropical and Communicable Diseases at Nallakunta in Hyderabad, popularly known as Koranti fever hospital is the only government hospital exclusively dedicated to providing treatment for seasonal ailments.

A state-of-the-art outpatient block with a cost of Rs 11 crore will come up at Fever Hospital, Nallakunta in a few weeks. The new OP block will have a high-end medical infrastructure for patients and will hold a capacity of 1000 patients. The initiative is a much-awaited dream of the people since the present OP building is not sufficient to accommodate the increasing daily patient inflow.
