Kerala Government appoints Principals for GMCs
Thiruvananthapuram: The vacant positions of Joint Director, Medical Education and Principals of Government Medical Colleges in Kerala, who retired by May 31, have been filled by the government.
The government took action on time by promoting and transferring faculty as per requirement.

The new Joint Director, Medical Education is Geeta Raveendran, whereas D Meena has been appointed as the Special Officer in the Medical Education department.
As per a media report in the Hindu, The newly appointed principals have been identified as Lynette J. Morris (Thiruvananthapuram Government Medical College), Reshmi Rajan (Kollam Government Medical College), Miriam Varkey (Alappuzha Government Medical College), R. S. Nisha (Government Medical College, Konni), P. K. Balakrishnan (Idukki Government Medical College), S. Pratap (Government Medical College, Ernakulam), N. Geetha (Government Medical College, Manjeri), Mallika Gopinath (Government Medical College, Kozhikode), V. Anilkumar (Government Medical College, Wayanad) and T.K. Premalatha (Government Medical College, Kannur).
