Yuvraj Singh Invests in Healthians Founder Deepak Sahni's New AI Healthtech Startup, Joins Founding Team
New Delhi: Cricketer Yuvraj Singh has joined UN:BLOC, a stealth-mode healthtech startup, as an investor and founding team member, marking his second collaboration with entrepreneur Deepak Sahni in the healthcare sector.
The venture was founded earlier this year by Deepak Sahni, who previously built Healthians into one of India's largest at-home diagnostics platforms before stepping down in January 2026 to focus on new ventures in healthcare.
UN:BLOC said Singh's commitment is expected to be the first of several such investments, with the company currently in discussions with a select group of individuals from healthcare and business circles for its pre-launch funding round.
“Yuvi backed me when I was building Healthians, at a time when very few people did,” said Deepak Sahni, founder of UN:BLOC. “Having him back as an investor and as part of the founding team means a great deal to me personally. We're trying to change how a patient is seen, not as someone to be managed for life, but as someone who can be understood at the root.”
This marks the second time Singh and Sahni have worked together. Singh first backed Healthians in 2015 through his early-stage fund YouWeCan Ventures.
With UN:BLOC, the duo is now collaborating on a healthcare venture that aims to use artificial intelligence and integrated care to address chronic diseases at their underlying causes, rather than focusing only on long-term disease management.
