New Delhi: A new scheme will be launched to bolster the domestic medical device industry within next one month, according to Department of Pharmaceuticals Secretary Arunish Chawla. The scheme is being developed following extensive consultations with the medical device industry, as mentioned by him during an event.
"This (the scheme) will be launched in the next one month. It was part of the stakeholder consultation so that different parts of the scheme are firmed up and are aligned with the needs of the industry," Chawla said.
