Abbott India appoints Tushar Singh as Plant Director - Goa

Mumbai: Abbott India has announced the appointment of Tushar Singh as Plant Director - Goa, effective November 1, 2025. He will be part of the Senior Management team of the Company.

His appointment follows the resignation of Munish Prashar, the current Plant Director – Goa, whose departure will be effective from the close of business hours on October 31, 2025.

Tushar joined Abbott in 2013 as Director Shared Services. He successfully set up the Shared Service unit, now called Business Effectiveness. He then progressed to the role of Director - Commercial Excellence, Abbott Primary Care in 2017 wherein he drove multiple strategic initiatives and was a key enabler of the Abbott Primary Care growth story.

Under his leadership, Abbott Primary Care transformed the AbSure, Respicare, Endura and Cough businesses. Tushar played an instrumental role in significantly increasing I&D India Pipeline to 66 products in February 2024 along with driving engineering projects which have led to cost optimization. Most recently he is working as Director PF&D, with EPD EPO organization. Tushar comes with a diverse experience before joining Abbott, he worked in the petroleum refining, financial services, outsourcing and telecom industries. Tushar holds a B. Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian institute of Technology - Kanpur and an MBA (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
