Abbott India names Anushree Kunhambu as Associate Director - New Product Introduction and Therapy Area Strategy

Mumbai: Abbott India has announced the appointment of Anushree Kunhambu as Associate Director - New Product Introduction and Therapy Area Strategy, effective August 1, 2025. She will be part of the Senior Management team of the Company.
The appointment follows the resignation of Namita Shah, who held the same position and stepped down from the company effective the close of business hours on April 15, 2025, as earlier reported by Medical Dialogues.
Anushree Kunhambu brings over a decade of experience in business development, licensing, and strategy across leading healthcare organizations. She joined Abbott in April 2021 as Head – Strategy & Portfolio, EPD India, where she led multiple high-impact licensing and acquisition deals across key therapy areas including biosimilars, gastrointestinal, women’s health, and CNS. Her strategic leadership played a pivotal role in driving both top-line and bottom-line growth, expanding the portfolio, and strengthening market competitiveness.
