New Delhi: The All India Organisation of Chemists and Druggists (AIOCD) has called for the removal of an advertisement featuring actor Ranveer Singh/ranvir Singh promoting HealthOk vitamin supplements. The ad suggests that non-vegetarians are healthier, which the chemists' body finds objectionable and calls it misleading.
The chemist body argues that the ad is deceptive and contradicts the well-known health benefits of vegetarianism, implying that vegetarians are more prone to vitamin deficiencies and that HealthOk can prevent this.
