Alembic Pharma appoints Prag Goel as Vice President - Sales and Marketing (Megacare, Enteron and Osteofit business divisions)
Vadodara: Alembic Pharma has announced the appointment of Prag Goel as Vice President - Sales and Marketing (Megacare, Enteron and Osteofit business divisions) of the Company w.e.f. 1st January, 2025.
Prag Goel has completed his B.Sc. from Kurukshetra University. Goel is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical industry with about 30 years of progressive experience and has worked in teams across various therapy areas such as Pediatrics, Cardiovascular, Diabetic, Anti Infective, Gastrointestinal, Gynecology, Rheumatology, Anti T.B, dermatology, Anti Infective and critical care in Indian as well as multi-national organizations. He has expertise in consistently developing high performance sales team and meeting business objectives. He was associated with LupinLimited, Glenmark India Limited, Pfizer India Limited and AstraZeneca Pharma India Ltd, and other various esteemed organizations.

Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported that the Company had received Final Approval from the US Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) for its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) Divalproex Sodium Delayed-Release Capsules USP, 125 mg. The approved ANDA is therapeutically equivalent to the reference listed drug product (RLD), Depakote Sprinkle Capsules, 125 mg, of AbbVie Inc.
