Bengaluru: Biocon Academy, a brainchild of Biocon Chairperson Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, founded in 2013 as a CSR initiative and a Centre of Excellence for Advanced Learning in Applied Biosciences, is all set to launch 18th batch of its flagship program in partnership with Keck Graduate Institute, California, in its effort to bridge the gap between the academia and industry.

The launch was after the massive success of its 17 batches of Biocon KGI Certificate Program in Biosciences and having accomplished 100 per cent placement record in all our batches even during the pandemic.
Program Dean Bindu Ajit said, "Biocon Academy is all excited to launch the 18th batch of its flagship program 'Biocon KGI Certificate Program in Biosciences'".
"It has been a wonderful journey and our education partner Keck Graduate Institute, California, has been a great team to work with. We have also accomplished a 100 per cent placement record in all our batches and other programs, even during the pandemic, which itself is a testament that speaks about the success and impact of Biocon Academy, she added.
She said " While we are looking forward to having the class onsite as soon as possible, we will do our best to ensure the students won't miss out on anything if in case we are going to continue with virtual training based on the current situation. Wishing students all the best for this new journey."
