Survey Evaluates Global Life Sciences Employers
The Science and Science Careers 2026 Top Employers Survey assessed companies across biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical and related industries to identify the 20 leading employers and the attributes driving their reputation.
Participants were asked to evaluate companies against 24 characteristics covering areas such as corporate image, financial strength, leadership and direction, and workplace culture and environment.
The rankings were based on approximately 5,100 completed surveys and were analysed by the US-based Brighton Consulting Group, an independent research firm commissioned by the Science/AAAS Office of Publishing.
Most respondents were based in North America (71%), followed by Europe (19%) and Asia-Pacific (6%). The survey used a mathematical methodology to identify the key characteristics of leading employers and assign scores reflecting their employer reputation.
