Caplin Point Labs Chief Transformation & Digital Officer Thiagaraja Manikandan resigns

Chennai: Caplin Point Laboratories Limited has announced the resignation of Thiagaraja Manikandan, Chief Transformation & Digital Officer, a Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of the Company, due to personal reasons.

"This is to inform you that Mr. Thiagaraja Manikandan, Chief Transformation & Digital Officer, a Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of the Company, has resigned with effect from the close of working hours of April 21, 2025," the Company stated in a recent BSE filing.

Manikandan is a proactive and versatile technocrat, renowned for leveraging cutting edge technologies to deliver business results spanning across multiple industries including food, agribusiness, IT Services, manufacturing, retail, CPG, global logistics, direct marketing consumer durable, and media across 60+ countries.

Manikandan began his career in the 1990s as Head of IT at Business India, and subsequently held the same role at Tupperware Corporation. Over the years, he served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Schenker Logistics (formerly BAX Global Inc) and Agro Tech Foods Limited. In 2006, he assumed the dual role of Group CIO and CEO at VGL Group. He later joined Olam in 2008, where he served as President and Group CIO.
