CDSCO Introduces Tooltips on SUGAM and Medical Device Portals to Enhance Application Accuracy
New Delhi: In order to improve the user experience and facilitate submission of data in the applications, through a recent notice, the Central Drug Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO), the Government of India, has introduced tooltips for legal forms on its SUGAM and Medical Device Online portals to assist stakeholders.
The newly introduced tooltips offer precise instructions tailored to each form field, helping applicants understand the specific information required. This initiative is expected to reduce common submission errors and enhance the accuracy and completeness of applications submitted to CDSCO for regulatory approval.
The notice stated, "These tooltips are designed to provide helpful guidance on the specific requirements for each field in the various application forms submitted to CDSCO for approval. By offering clear instructions on expected inputs, this feature aims to minimize errors and facilitate the quality of submissions."
Applicants are encouraged to utilize this feature while filling out forms on the SUGAM and Medical Device Online portals, as highlighted in this circular.
In addition, the notice stated, "Tooltips are accessible by hovering over the help icons or accompanying text next to each field, offering on-the-spot guidance to ensure accurate data entry."
This initiative reflects CDSCO's ongoing commitment to promoting transparency, ease of doing business, and regulatory compliance.
Furthermore, the notice added that for any questions or technical assistance, stakeholders can reach out to the respective portals' help-desk."
