New Delhi: The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has cancelled the Cosmetic Registration Certificate No. RC/COS-003595, held by NKG Advisory Business and Consulting Services Private Limited, for the import of cosmetic products manufactured by Proteos Biotech S.L, Spain.

According to the Office Memorandum issued on 4 August 2025 by the Cosmetics Division of CDSCO, the Indian agent, NKG Advisory Business and Consulting Services Private Limited, had submitted a Post Approval Change Request on 6 February 2025, followed by an e-receipt dated 28 April 2025, seeking surrender of the certificate.

The firm stated that the manufacturer, Proteos Biotech S.L, decided to discontinue the registration due to “business and administrative reasons” and would not be importing any cosmetic products registered under the said certificate into India.

The registration certificate, originally issued on 3 December 2022, was valid up to 1 December 2027 and covered the import of cosmetics registered by the Spanish manufacturer. With the company’s request, the CDSCO formally cancelled the registration.
