Emcure Pharma confirms GST Dept search operation, assures 'No Material Impact' on operations
Pune: Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited has announced that the Goods & Services Tax Department, Mumbai, has conducted a search and seizure operation at the company's offices.
The search was carried out by the Assistant Commissioner of State Tax (D-0214), Investigation – B, Mumbai, under Section 67 of the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.
"We will continue to extend our support and furnish any further information as may be required," Emcure said.
It further confirmed that no official document indicating any adverse findings has been issued to date.
It also emphasized that there is no material impact on the Company’s financials, operations or other activities, due to said inspection.
