Sun Pharma recently warned about recent a fake website misguiding public

New Delhi: Responding to a fake message using its company name that has gone viral on Whatsapp, pharma major Sun Pharma recently took to Twitter and warned the public not to indulge in such messages.

This comes after a message containing a piece of false information regarding Sun Pharma's 40th Anniversary was found circulating WhatsApp along with a fake website limk.

The fake message talks about Sun Pharma giving gifts worth Rs.6000 on its 40th Anniversary to the winners and asks users to answer the following questions:

1. Do you know Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd?

2. How old are you?

3. How do you think Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd?

4. Are you male or female?

The fake website also contains the logo of Sun Pharma and a picture of the employers along with the Sun Pharma logo behind them. The picture and logo highly misguided the public into believing that the information is true and soon its link was seen going in mass circulation on the whatsapp

Responding to the website and the messages, Sun Pharma took to Social media and warned the public about this hoax news. They also published this alert on their official Sun Pharma Website. The firm asked the public to be vigilant of such fraud news spreading on social media assuring prices and gift vouchers and not to fall for it.
