Pune: Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited has informed about a fire incident at its manufacturing facility in Hinjawadi, Pune, Maharashtra. The incident occurred on February 7, 2026, at the utility block of the company's Plant I, and has led to a temporary disruption of operations at the site.

In a regulatory filing made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, Emcure stated that the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. The company noted that the fire has been controlled and no human injuries or casualties have been reported.

The pharmaceutical company said that operations at the affected plant are expected to be disrupted for an estimated period of five to seven days. It added that it is taking all necessary and adequate measures to restore operations at the earliest.

Emcure further clarified that there is adequate insurance coverage for the facility and that intimation has already been given to the insurance company. The company also stated that it is currently assessing the extent of damage caused by the incident but does not expect any material financial impact on its operations.

The company said it will keep the stock exchanges informed about any further developments related to the incident.
