Former Coca-Cola executive Punita Lal joins Lupin Board as Additional Director
Mumbai: Global pharma major Lupin Limited has appointed Punita Lal as an Additional Director (Non-Executive, Independent) to its Board of Directors.
Punita has a distinguished career spanning over 35 years in strategy, marketing, and leadership across Asia, encompassing various geographies and industries.
She has held senior positions at Coca-Cola in China and PepsiCo in India. She served as Managing Director & CEO of NourishCo, a joint venture between Tata Global Beverages and PepsiCo.
Following her executive tenure, Punita focused on consulting for SMEs, playing a significant role in fostering innovation. She is also a qualified leadership coach. Punita has served on the boards of DBS Bank, Carlsberg A.S., Cipla, CEAT, and Entertainment Networks India.
She has been recognized as Corporate Woman of the Year by FICCI Women’s Organisation in 2009.
Punita’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata.
