Gas leak at Maha Pharma co kills 4, injures 2

Maharashtra: Tragedy struck a pharmaceutical company in Maharashtra on Thursday when a suspected nitrogen gas leak at Medley Pharmaceuticals claimed the lives of at least four workers and left two others injured.
The exact number of workers present at the time of the incident remains unclear, the official said.
The incident, which happened at Medley Pharma, appears to have been a nitrogen gas leak, Palghar district's Resident Deputy Collector Subhash Bhagade said.
The two injured are being treated in hospital, the official said, adding that the unit was shut down following the incident.
As per Reuters, the official also said an inquiry into the leak is being carried out.
