Gland Pharma ropes in Wriddhee Maitra as Vice-President (Human Resources)

TelanganaGland Pharma has appointed Wriddhee Maitra as Vice-President (Human Resources), a Senior Management Personnel of the Company.

"In compliance of the provisions of Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015; we would like to inform you that Wriddhee Maitra has been appointed as Vice-President (Human Resources), a Senior Management Personnel of the Company with effect from March 10, 2025," the Company informed in a BSE filing.

Wriddhee Maitra has more than 20 years of HR management experience at National level for MNCs and as well with domestic enterprises. Wriddhee Maitra has experience on different platforms with proven track record across various industries, such as Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Life Insurance and Electronics.

He handled different management domains including Manufacturing, Commercial organization and R&D sites. Wriddhee’s HR functional practice includes HR Analytics, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relationship, Learning & Development, Organization Development, Talent Management, Performance Management, Sales Training, Corporate Administration services, etc.
Wriddhee Maitra, in his previous role led the Human Resources department as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Exeltis India. Since June, 2017 he had been associated with Exeltis in various roles responsible for Talent Strategy, Talent Development, Coaching & Mentoring, Training and Development and establishing Social Media footprint and Communications. Prior to Exeltis, he was associated with Glenmark Pharmaceuticals for three years, Abbott Healthcare Pvt Limited (India) for five years, ICICI Prudential Group for more than two years. Started his career with Tyco Electronics, Maitra worked for Siemens Shared Services and BCD Travel India Pvt Ltd for a brief stint.

Wriddhee Maitra has done his Master of Business Administration (Human Resources and Industrial Relations) from Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management.

Gland Pharma was established in 1978 in Hyderabad and has grown over the years from a contract manufacturer of small-volume liquid parenteral products to become growing injectable-focused companies, with a global footprint across 60 countries, including the United States, Europe, Canada, Australia, India, and other markets. It operates primarily under a business-to-business (B2B) model and develops, manufactures, and markets sterile injectables. It has a wide range of injectables, including vials, ampoules, pre-filled syringes, lyophilized vials, dry powders, infusions, oncology, and ophthalmic solutions.
