GlaxoSmithKline Pharma Upendra Singh resigns as Commercial Head - General Medicines

MumbaiGlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Limited has announced the resignation of Upendra Singh, Commercial Head - General Medicines, effective from the close of business hours of 18th April 2025. Singh is stepping down to explore opportunities outside the company.

Pursuant to his resignation, he will also cease to be the Senior Management Personnel of the Company effective the said date.

Upendra Singh has had a long and accomplished career at GSK. He joined the company in 2000 as an Area Business Manager and steadily rose through the ranks, taking on several key leadership roles across geographies. His career highlights include serving as General Manager – Respiratory, followed by his promotion to Commercial Manager for direct distribution markets in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. He later assumed the role of Commercial Operations Manager for the Middle East Export Cluster.

Over the past six years, Singh held the positions of General Manager for Sri Lanka and Indonesia, in addition to his role as Commercial Head of General Medicines.
