Glenmark Launches Adapalene Gel Pump Packs in US, Eyes USD 45.8 Mn OTC Market

New Delhi: Glenmark Therapeutics Inc., USA, a subsidiary of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, has launched new pump-pack presentations of Adapalene Gel USP, 0.1% (OTC) in the United States.
Glenmark’s Adapalene Gel USP, 0.1% contains the same active ingredient as Differin® Gel, 0.1%, according to the company. The new pump-pack format is intended to provide a convenient dispensing option for consumers.
According to Nielsen syndicated data for the 52-week period ended September 5, 2026, the US Differin Gel, 0.1% OTC market recorded annual sales of approximately USD 45.8 million. The market figure includes the brand and all available therapeutic equivalents.

The product is available in 15 g and 45 g pump-pack presentations in the US.
Glenmark said its Adapalene Gel USP, 0.1% is marketed only for the indications listed in its approved Drug Facts label.
The company clarified that its product is not manufactured or distributed by Galderma Laboratories, L.P. or Galderma Holding S.A., the distributor of Differin Gel and owner of the Differin trademark, respectively.
