Health Ministry grants additional one year relief to MSME pharma cos to upgrade facilities under Schedule M

New Delhi: Granting relief to small and medium pharma companies with a turnover of less than Rs 250 crore, the Health Ministry has extended the deadline for them to implement the revised good manufacturing practices under Schedule M of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.
The ministry said in a statement that they receive an additional 12 months of relief and can now comply with improved manufacturing practices by December 31, 2025. The extension comes following requests by manufacturing units to upgrade their facilities.
