Health Ministry Invites Application For Deputy Director at CDSCO's CDTL Mumbai, Salary Up to Rs 2.09 L

New Delhi: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has invited applications for the post of Deputy Director at the Central Drugs Testing Laboratory (CDTL), Mumbai under the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO).

The recruitment will be conducted on a deputation (including short-term contract) basis, and interested candidates must apply within 60 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News.

Position Details & Salary

The post of Deputy Director falls under Group A, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial category with a pay scale of Level-12 under the 7th CPC, which ranges between Rs 78,800 to Rs 2,09,200 per month.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be officers from Central/State Government, Union Territories, autonomous bodies, statutory organizations, public sector undertakings, or recognized universities who:

Hold analogous posts on a regular basis; or

Have five years of experience in Level-11 pay scale (Rs 67,700 – Rs 2,08,700).

Additionally, candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Bacteriology, Medicine, Microbiology, or Biotechnology from a recognized university.

A minimum of eight years of experience in drug testing, standardization, and research is also required.

Candidates need to submit their bio-data along with supporting documents such as:

Attested copies of APAR/ACRs (last five years)

Integrity Certificate

Vigilance Clearance Certificate

Cadre Clearance Certificate

Statement of penalties (if any) in the last 10 years

Applications must be sent through the proper channel to Shri Pawan Kumar, Deputy Director (Admn.), CDSCO, FDA Bhawan, Kotla Road, New Delhi – 110002.

Age Limit & Tenure

The maximum age limit for deputation is 56 years as of the closing date of applications.

The tenure of deputation will be for a maximum period of four years.
