Lincoln Pharma to begin API production at Khatraj facility in 1- 2 years
Ahmedabad: Lincoln Pharmaceuticals Limited is expected to commence the commercial production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) at its newly built manufacturing facility in Khatraj, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
The facility, located at Trimul Estate, recently completed successfull trial run and is now awaiting additional product approval from the Food and Drugs Control Administration (FDCA).
Commercial operations are expected to begin within one to two years, the company said in a regulatory filing to the BSE.
"We are pleased to inform you that the new manufacturing facility of the Company located at Block No-176, Trimul Estate, Khatraj, Dis-Gandhinagar, Gujarat has successfully completed its trial run. Further, the facility is expected to commence the commercial production of APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) within 1 to 2 years depending upon additional product permission received from Food & Drugs Control Administration," Lincoln stated.

Set up in the year 1979, the manufacturing facility of Lincoln is based at Khatraj, Gujarat sharing the same dais as with the international standards. Its lab has been given ISO 9001:2015 certifications. The company also furthermore plan to expand the capabilities in the US and UK markets.
The manufacturing facility at Khatraj produces only Non betalactum tablets, capsules, ointments/creams, dry-powder suspensions, sterile ophthalmic ointments, SVP injectables, oral liquids, dry-powder injections, eye/ear drops, etc.
