Lupin awarded EcoVadis Silver Medal for sustainability excellence
Mumbai: Global pharma major Lupin Limited has announced that it has been awarded "Silver Medal" by EcoVadis for its outstanding sustainability management practices in areas such as Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.
This prestigious achievement places Lupin amongst the top 15% of companies evaluated by EcoVadis.
EcoVadis is a globally trusted provider of business sustainability ratings with a network of more than 150,000 companies being rated. The EcoVadis sustainability assessment methodology evaluates the integration of sustainability principles effectively into a company’s business and management system.
Over the last two years, Lupin has showcased exceptional improvement in its EcoVadis scoring, moving up from 51 in 2024 to 69 in 2025. With this achievement, Lupin is positioned at the 87th percentile in the 2025 assessment.

Earlier this year, Lupin received an “A-” leadership rating from CDP for its outstanding performance in climate change and water security. Additionally, Lupin’s S&P Global ESG scores moved to 76 from 69 last year, above the industry average of 30 in the pharmaceuticals sector.
