Maharashtra B.Pharm Admissions 2025: 29,166 Students Allotted Seats in First Round

Mumbai: The much-awaited first round of Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) admissions has finally been announced, bringing relief to thousands of aspiring students across Maharashtra. A total of 29,166 candidates have secured seats in various pharmacy colleges across the state.

According to the announcement, 13,895 students have been allotted their first-choice institutions, reflecting a strong preference match in the initial round. Candidates who have received allotments must accept their seats online by 3 pm on October 6 and report to the allotted colleges by 5 pm the same day to complete admission formalities.

Following this, the list of vacant seats will be released on October 7. The preference-filling window for the second round of admissions will remain open from October 8 to 10, and the second allotment list will be declared on October 13, as per the official schedule.

The admission process, which faced delays this year, was held up due to the late approval process by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), as reported by Hindustan Times. This postponement had caused uncertainty among candidates eagerly awaiting their admissions.

With the first round now complete, the process is expected to progress smoothly in the coming weeks, ensuring timely completion of pharmacy admissions across Maharashtra, reports the Hindustan Times.
