Meril names Biplab G as Business Head - APAC, Arthroplasty Portfolio

Meril has announced the appointment of Biplab G. as its Business Head - APAC, Arthroplasty Portfolio, based in Mumbai, with a planned transition to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

With over two decades of experience across diverse healthcare landscapes, Biplab brings strategic depth in both sales and marketing, along with a proven track record of driving business growth and operational transformation across South Asia.

"At Meril, he will lead our Arthroplasty portfolio in APAC, strengthening regional presence, fostering collaboration, and aligning strategies to deliver long-term impact," Meril said in a LinkedIn post.

An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, he is widely recognized for his performance-driven approach, strong team orientation, and market development expertise.

Prior to Meril, he worked at Align technology, Zimmer Biomet, Smith & Nephew Health Care Pvt Ltd, Johnson & Johnson, BD India, Panacea Biotec and Pfizer
