Reckitt names Ravi Bhatnagar as Director Corporate Communications and Corporate Affairs (South Asia, MENARP and Africa)

Reckitt has appointed Ravi Bhatnagar as its new Director of Corporate Communications and Corporate Affairs for South Asia, MENARP, and Africa.

Bhatnagar announced the development via a LinkedIn post, stating, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Director Corporate Communications and Corporate Affairs (South Asia, MENARP, and Africa) at Reckitt!”

Bhatnagar has been with Reckitt since 2015, joining as Director of External Affairs and Partnerships for the Asia, Middle East and South Africa (AMESA) region. Most recently, he served as Director, External Affairs and Partnerships SOA.

Before joining Reckitt, Bhatnagar held key positions at the Clinton Health Access Initiative as Associate Director, Population Services International, India as Senior Manager Programs, and the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) as Manager Programs.

He also worked with the World Bank, the Department for International Development (DFID), and Aga Khan Health Services in India.

In addition to his corporate responsibilities, He is a qualified Independent Director (Institute of Directors) and Co-Chair at ASSOCHAM CSR Council and high-powered Empowerment Council; Board Member at Population Services International (PSI) and sits on the FICCI-ISC Advisory Committee on Water, Sanitation and Plastic. He serves on various committees and commissions of Government of India on governance, health, and financial transparency.

He is one of the recipients of WTO-Hall of Fame for his work on macro-economics and women’s health. In recognition of his work in India, he is bestowed Indian Achiever’s Award by His Excellency the President of India and Chief Justice of Supreme Court of India, he is also recipient of Gandhi Mandela Batch of Honor for his work on peace building and access to healthcare during conflict.

He is an Alumni of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and Life Founding member of Leaders’ Excellence Harvard Square.
