Religare renames health insurance subsidiary as Care Health Insurance

Religare Enterprises did not provide any reason for changing the name of its health insurance subsidiary to Care Health Insurance.

New Delhi: Religare Enterprises on Thursday said it has changed the name of its health insurance subsidiary to Care Health Insurance.

"Name of Religare Health Insurance Company Ltd, subsidiary of the company, has been changed to Care Health Insurance Ltd with effect from August 19, 2020," Religare Enterprises said in a regulatory filing.

It did not provide any reason for changing the name of its subsidiary, reports PTI.

Religare Enterprises Limited (REL) is the holding company for one of India's leading diversified financial services groups, headquartered in New Delhi, India. Founded in 1982, initially, Religare was a stock brokerage firm called Religare Securities Ltd (RSL) and was admitted to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) in 1994.
