Sucharita Rao Palepu appointed as Granules India independent director

New Delhi: Drug maker, Granules india has recently announced the appointment of Mrs. Sucharita Rao Palepu as an Additional Director, categorized as Non-Executive Independent, on the Board of the Company with effect from December 22, 2021. 

Sucharita Rao Palepu, aged 55 years, is a Chartered Accountant and has over 30 years of professional experience in Information Technology and Financial Services Industries. She is currently a Strategic Advisor specialising in Organization & HR Transformation initiatives, prior to which, she was Global Head- Human Resources at Tech Mahindra Ltd. Her areas of expertise include helping organizations boost their competitive advantage and performance.

Over her career, Sucharita was instrumental in initiating several significant transformation programs and large-scale HR interventions, with a proven track record of delivering successful change in a global, diverse, multi-cultural and complex environment. With a strong commercial orientation, she is known for bringing about pioneering changes across various initiatives.

Sucharita has been acknowledged as a thought leader and has very effectively led extremely complex organization integrations. She has introduced several next practices aligned to Organization Culture and the same have been recognised across various platforms as well.

She is actively involved in a few NGOs and is also a certified coach. She was awarded Exemplary Woman in Leader Award (Apac) in HR Branding Awards 2015-16 and Women Super Achievers Award in HR Branding Awards 2009-10.
