Telangana: In a raid conducted at the residence of a habitual offender in Hyderabad, the Drugs Control Administration, Telangana has seized a huge stock of drugs worth Rs 5.21 lakhs suspected to be spurious.
Four varieties of suspected spurious drugs, including antidiabetics, antihypertensive drugs, and abortion kits, were seized during the raid.
On 4 th June, 2025, acting on credible information regarding the illegal procurement of drugs, special teams were formed, and a raid was conducted at the residence of Puvvada Lakshmana in Moosarambagh, Malakpet, Hyderabad, which is an unlicensed premises. Puvvada Lakshmana is habitual offenders with several spurious drug cases pending against him in the State.
At the residence of Puvvada Lakshmana, stocks of four Suspected Spurious Drugs were detected and seized during the raid.

1. Tazloc-CT 6.25 (Telmisartan and Chlorthalidone Tablets)

2. Dapacose-10 Tablets (Dapagliflozin Tablets 10 mg)
