Zydus Lifesciences incorporates wholly owned subsidiary company in Canada
Ahmedabad: Zydus Lifesciences Limited has announced that the Company has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary company namely Zydus Pharmaceuticals (Canada) Inc. in Canada.
"We hereby inform that Zydus Lifesciences Limited (the “Company”) has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary company (“WOS”) namely Zydus Pharmaceuticals (Canada) Inc. on September 6, 2023 in Canada," the company informed in a recent BSE filing.
Zydus Pharmaceuticals (Canada) Inc. is incorporated in Canada under the Canada Business Corporations Act and is yet to commence its business operations.

Zydus Lifesciences Limited, formerly known as Cadila Healthcare Limited, is an Indian Pharmaceutical company headquartered in Ahmedabad. The Company was founded in the year 1952 by Mr. Ramanbhai B. Patel (late), a first-generation entrepreneur and a doyen in the field of Indian Pharmaceuticals. It is primarily engaged in the manufacture of generic drugs.
