Zydus Lifesciences ropes in Vikram Shukla as President-Parenteral Operations

Ahmedabad: Zydus Lifesciences has informed in a BSE filing that the Company has appointed Vikram Shukla as a President-Parenteral Operations and designated him as the Senior Management Personnel.

"This is to inform that based on the recommendation of Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board of Directors of Zydus Lifesciences Limited have approved the appointment of Mr. Vikram Shukla as a President-Parenteral Operations and designated as the Senior Management Personnel," the company stated.

Vikram Shukla, aged 51 years, is a Gold Medallist, Graduate in Microbiology, Nagpur University. He is a postgraduate in Microbiology from the same university. He has also done the INSEAD Integrated Leadership Course.

He has 29+ years’ comprehensive experience in world-class Formulations and API (for US and EU requirements) mainly related to injectable. He has wide and hands on experience in regulatory audits.

He also has strong background in handling all aspects of management of manufacturing and quality operations.

He has demonstrated capabilities in judicious deployment of resources to achieve maximum operational efficiency.

Before joining Zydus, he was associated with Pfizer Inc. as the Vice President Operations- Sterile Injectable and Biotech Operations-APAC. Amongst others, he has also worked in pharma companies like Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Lupin, Nicolas Piramal and Zydus Hospira Oncology JV.
