New Delhi: Recently, through a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Smt Anupriya Patel informed about there being No Central Data Of Physiotherapy Clinics
The minister stated Health is a State subject and no such information/data is available centrally. However, under Clinical Establishments Act as per data available of online registration in 10 States/UTs namely, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Assam, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Puducherry, and Chandigarh, a total Physiotherapy centres functioning are 463.
