Mumbai: P D Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre, reinforced its commitment to provide quality healthcare in the city of Mumbai by honouring the organ donors / family members of cadaver donors for their heroic act of saving lives of patients. During this year’s Annual Organ Donor Felicitation Programme more than 50 donors and their family members were felicitated for their selfless act of giving by Actor Shivaji Satam (ACP Pradyuman of CID fame); Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief at Times Now & ET Now and Mr. Gautam Khanna, CEO, P.D. Hinduja Hospital & MRC.
Expressing gratitude to the families for donating organs of their loved ones, Mr. Gautam Khanna, CEO, P D Hinduja Hospital & MRC said, “It has been our persistent endeavour over the years to counsel and educate people about the importance of organ donation. We are proud to honour courageous donors and their families for their noble act of giving life to others. There should be greater awareness about the need and importance of organ donation in society so that more people can come forward to donate and save precious lives.”
