Patna: Patient care remains Paras HMRI Hospital's primary objective and the recent AHPI Award bears a testimony to this point. Paras HMRI Hospital has been awarded in the category of 'Best Patient Friendly Hospital' at the Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI) Awards ceremony held recently in Mumbai. It goes without saying that PARAS aims at delivering safe, accessible, affordable, timely and patient oriented medical care to its patients.
The award was won post a detailed facility assessment and inspection of the hospital processes by the representatives of AHPI. After the preliminary evaluation, Paras HMRI Hospital was shortlisted on the basis of the documentation auditing and assessment done by the AHPI team.
The 'Patient Friendly Hospital' Award was won by Paras HMRI Hospital at the AHPI Global Conclave of Association of Healthcare Providers (India) in the presence of Dr. Girdhar Gyani, Director General, AHPI; Dr. Prem Nair, President, AHPI and around 400 other dignitaries and experts from the medical fraternity.
Dr. Ravi Shankar Singh, Regional Director, Paras HMRI Hospital said, "We appreciate that we have been rewarded for our persistent efforts to provide affordable, accessible and quality healthcare to all. It has been our endeavour to empower the common man with access to the best medical expertise and infrastructure."
He further stated, "The processes and the operations of the hospital are devised in a unique way, keeping the needs of the patients in mind. The lobby, pharmacy placement, food services and even the lighting has been done keeping in mind the comfort of the patients and their attendants. The most important aspect is that we are open to all patients. Our staff - both clinical and non-clinical, is trained to listen to all queries and resolve the same. We believe in the strategy of solving the problem and not supporting it. The primary duty of any hospital is to provide safe, effective, efficient, equitable or affordable, timely, patient oriented quality medical and nursing care. This award highlights that we are moving in the right direction."
Dr. Md. Jawed, General Manager - Operations & Quality, Paras HMRI Hospital stated, "The award is a big achievement not just for Paras HMRI Hospital but for the people of Bihar. We owe this award to the outstanding care and quality we provide to our patients. If you are looking at the right treatment to be given with right care and right services you must come to Paras HMRI Hospital. For us patients come first."
Paras Patna is the first hospital of the region to go through NABH assessment and is committed to ensure that quality of the highest standards is maintained in its clinical and non-clinical protocols. Paras Patna is also the first corporate hospital of the region and the largest employer in the private healthcare sector in the state of Bihar.
Increasing access for the common man, Paras is adding another tertiary care hospital in March in Darbhanga. The hospital shall provide access to highest level of Cardiac and Neuro services to that region.
