Pay revision announced for faculty of AIIMS, PGIMER and JIPMER
New Delhi: Through a recent notification, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has announced the revision of pay of faculty members of autonomous bodies namely, AIIMS, New Delhi, PGIMER, Chandigarh and JIPMER, Puducherry
Consequent upon implementation of 7th Central Pay Commission for Central Government employees, Ministry had taken up the matter of revision of pay of faculty members of autonomous bodies namely, AIIMS, New Delhi, PGIMER, Chandigarh and JIPMER, Puducherry with Ministry of Finance in light of guideline issued Department of Expenditure.
Department of Expenditure advised the Health Ministry to take appropriate action after issuance of orders for revision of pay & scales of the faculty of universities and colleges as well as in Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFl-Is) by Ministry of Human Resource Development.
Following the same the Government of India has decided, after taking into consideration Ministry of Finance guideline and MHRD's orders to revise the pay of faculty of AIIMS, New Delhi, PGIMER, Chandigarh and JIPMER, Puducherry as under:

The effective date of fixation of pay of the faculty of the three Institutes is 01.1.2015. The decision on allowances of the faculty of the Institutes will be taken after consultation with Ministry of Finance.
Anomalies, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, for clarification/ decision of the Central Government.
This issues with the approval of Integrated Finance Division of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare vide its diary no.C-2005 dated 1.11.2017.
