Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh has announced walk-in interviews on February 24 and 25, 2016 for recruitment to 22 various posts of Assistant Professor, Joint Director, Consultant, Transplant Coordinator & Programme Assistant cum Data Entry and Senior Research Fellow. The recruitment would be done on contractual temporary basis.

Eligibility criterion:
Age limit:
- For SRF: Candidates applying for the post should be maximum 28 years of age.
- For Assistant Professor: Candidates applying for the post should be maximum 50 years of age.
Educational qualification:
- For SRF: Candidates applying for the post should possess Masters in Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology with 02 years research experience.
- For Joint Director: Candidates applying for the post should have completed Post Graduation (MD/ MS or DM/ MCH) in any Medical Specialty/ Super specialty.
- For Consultant (IEC/ Media), Consultant (Data Management Statistics Research and Publication) & Transplant Coordinator: Candidates applying for the posts should be a Postgraduate in Mass Communication/ Journalism/ Medical/ Public Health/ Medical Statistics/ Social Sciences/ Health Sciences.
- For Programme Assistant cum Data Entry Operator: Candidates applying for the post should be a Graduate and hold a Diploma in Computer proficiency.
- For Assistant Professor: Candidates applying for the post should hold Post Graduation (MD in Anaesthesia/ Nuclear Medicine/ Medicine/ Radiotherapy/ Radio diagnosis/ Obstetrics and Gynaecology/ Pedantries and D.M in Endocrinology/ Gastroenterology/ Neurology/ Nephrology, MS in Orthopaedics, M.Ch in Microbiology & Master’s Degree viz M.Sc in Microbiology and Ph.D) or an equivalent Degree with teaching and/ or research experience.
