Puducherry Specialists engaged on contract basis in govt hospitals get Pay Hike

Puducherry:  The Puducherry government today announced hike in the monthly payment for specialist doctors engaged in government hospitals on contract basis.


A release from the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Services said doctors appointed on contract basis to serve in hospitals in Puducherry would get a monthly pay of Rs 75,000 instead of Rs 51,000 fixed earlier.






Specialists in Mahe and Yanam regions would be paid Rs 51,000 a month.
