Punjab: Four employees of private hospital arrested for sex determination

Moga: Four employees of a private hospital were arrested in a raid conducted jointly by health officials of Punjab and Haryana with the assistance of police here while they were allegedly carrying out sex determination tests.


They were produced before a local court which sent them to police remand for four days, officials said.


During the raid, the employees were allegedly carrying out sex determination tests.


A sum of Rs 15,000 was recovered from the accused identified as Darshna Devi, Jatinder, Bikram and Narinder Singh, police said.
