Punjab minister to probe irregularities in nursing and dental colleges

Anil Joshi, Punjab’s medical education and research minister, is likely to take immediate action against the state’s nursing and dental colleges. Joshi has observed infrastructure deficiencies and irregularities in the said colleges.
Joshi is reported to have formulated a team consisting of professors of Government Medical College, Patiala, to probe the matter further. The team will conduct checks and prepare a list of colleges which are noted defaulters. A written report will be submitted by the team to the minister later.
