Another ugly incident of road rage against doctor in the capital

New Delhi :  A 37-year-old doctor, his father and assistant were allegedly thrashed by a group of men when an argument broke out between the two sides after one of the assailants two-wheeler hit the doctors car in East Delhis Krishna Nagar area.

The victim has been identified as Shivpuri-resident Manoj Aggarwal (37), who has a clinic in Shahdara, police said.

Around 5:45 PM when the doctor was going to his clinic from home with his assistant and 68-year-old father, two men on a motorbike came speeding and hit his car from behind, said a senior police officer.

When the doctor protested, the men started abusing him. They were accompanied by their friends who were on a scooty.

They got down from their bikes and allegedly started thrashing them, police said.

They also threatened the doctor with dire consequences if he reported the matter to police.

He filed a complaint with the police and an FIR against the unidentified men has been registered at the Krishna Nagar police station.
