New Delhi: Bringing pride to his doctor parents, Rajasthan-based Nalin Khandelwal has emerged as the All India topper of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for MBBS and BDS courses for this year, NEET 2019 while scoring 701 out of 720 marks.
Khandelwal said he prepared for the examination for two years. Crediting his parents and teachers, the AIR 1 topper stated, “My parents motivated me to study, providing me with a positive environment... I fully focused on studies for two years in Jaipur. Since my parents are doctors and my elder brother is also doing his MBBS, I got full support from them as well as from my teachers," he told reporters.
The topper said that he took a break from social media and smartphones. "I studied for nearly 7-8 hours a day," he said.
'I am very happy at securing the first rank. I used to study for eight hours every day. I would like to thank my teachers." he added.
