Private Medical Colleges allegedly not giving PG admission: NTR University moved
Vijaywada: The Andhra Pradesh Backward Classes Welfare Association has requested vice-chancellor, Dr Syama Prasad, NTR University of Health Sciences to fill the post-graduate seats of private medical colleges according to specified norms of the varsity.
The Hans India reports that K Sankar Rao, the president of AP BC welfare Association has recently submitted a memorandum to the Vice-Chancellor in his chamber and asked him to take necessary steps to direct the private medical colleges of the state to immediately initiate postgraduate admission for the remaining seats as per the rules and regulations of the university.

According to Hans India, K Sankar Rao claimed that private medical colleges are not giving admission to PG students though there is a vacancy of seats. The association stated that the government has fixed the fee structure for the private medical colleges, but they are not admitting the PG students on the pretext of the fee structure.
