Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH) soon to be connected with Metro, says DMRC

Patna: Delhi Rail Metro Corporation (DMRC) said on Sunday that the prestigious Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH) of Bihar would be connected with Metro Railway.

Chief executive director corporate communication DMRC Anuj Dayal said on Sunday that PMCH is a prestigious medical center and would soon be a part of the metro railway project.

Anuj Dayal said that the capacity of beds in PMCH would be increased to 4200 resulting in the increase in the traffic pressure that would be managed by the metro railway. He said that small subway of 30 metre length would be constructed at both exit and entry points of the metro railway station.

He said that lift and escalator facility would be available at the metro station for convenience of the travellers. He said that the economic activities are growing at faster pace in Patna, the state capital of Bihar and the Metro corridor would provide better commuting facilities to the passengers.
